How to view and edit CIs



Here you can delete/edit or relate CIs to a case record:



To add affected CIs to an incident, click on a popup screen allows you to browse for CIs.
View all or search for a specific CI.
Filter by column, drag a column header to group



Select a CI and click on to add.

A popup screen allows you to view information and relations of

  2. In the popup screen, click on each tab to see CI's features:

    1. CI Information



      BASIC
      CI general information

      Serial number,
      Generic name: I.e. MONITOR
      Status: in (Active CI), out
      CI Define: CI type> PEOPLE, DEVICE, KNOWN ERROR RECORD, WORKAROUND RECORD, LOCATION, COST CENTER, SERVICE, etc.
      Description: CI description


      Optional CI Information:WORKAROUNDINFORMATION,
      SETCPU, CPU, IP

    2. CI Relations


      When you pass the mouse over the CI, you will see a CI summary

      Zoom out

      Zoom in

      Export CI map to PNG

      Hide/Show captions

      Click on to add new relations to the CI

  3. Other tools

    • Click on to see CI information



    • Click on to make a comparisson between two CIs
